Well done to Norfolk Anglers Conservation Association (NACA) on being awarded £10,000 by the Environment Agency.
The award is to fund a project to assess the feasibility of sustainable river restoration projects covering the River Wensum at Lyng and at Costessey. The project will also produce outline designs to support The River Wensum Restoration Strategy.

Congragtulations to Zyg Gregorek (not spelled Zig) for being haled as the ‘World’s Greatest Fisherman‘ by Rob Kramer, President of the IGFA.
I heard this announced on Radio 4 today, and thought I recognise that laugh and name! It’s Zyg from Anglers Paradise in Devon – one of the many fishing celebrities who have featured on Matt Hayes fishing shows.

OK, I appreciate we are now well into May, but better late than never! Discovery Real Time Extra, for the whole month of May, is showing fishing programmes 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. It was partly this non-stop fishing marathon that has encouraged me to get back on to the bank side.
