Just a short note tonight to say it has been great to get some comments and questions from visitors to the site. It is excellent to see other people start to share the fishing successes, failures, questions and experience about fishing in Norfolk. I would encourage everyone who visits the site to share their views and comments as it will really add to the value of the site for everyone else - especially me who still has so much to learn!

• Permits Available: Barford Lakes is open through out the year and offers day ticket pleasure fishing, but they do have a busy match fishing calendar and to avoid any dissapointment I would contact them to check which lakes are available before turning up to fish.

Returned to Walnut Farm Fisheries on Monday night, the first time for a few weeks and had my best evening yet!Finally think I have cracked a few things and landed over half a dozen Carp over the 5lb mark who put up the most barmy of fights. They included a most amazing coloured Koi Carp, Mirrors and Commons.

I also picked up a few smaller Crucians, it was a hoot, just a shame it was a little on the fresh side with a chilly wind.

I know I need to try another venue, but it is close and easy and at the moment that is what appeals! Any suggestions for where I should try next?
